College Preparatory Class
Highly gifted young students may be accepted into the Pre-College - College Preparatory Class at the School of Music. College Prep students receive individual lessons in voice or their chosen instrument at the School of Music as well as music theory instruction. To be admitted to the College Prep Class, students must be at least 15 years of age and have successfully passed a special aptitude test.
The College Prep Class at the School of Music is part of the University’s concept of the „Frühstudium“ of JGU. The credits obtained during College Prep studies may be applied to university studies.
Master of Music
Concert Exam / Exam Sound Art Composition / Promotion
Those courses of studies are actually offered in the HfM Mainz. To study one of these courses of studies you must alread reaches the Bachelor or the Master of Music.
