Library

The library at Mainz School of Music is part of the departmental library Philosophicum at the main library of Johannes Gutenberg University.

The collections on site follow a classification scheme and offer a broad selection of sheet music as well.

Furthermore, the main library has pages on music, music education and musicology where you can find further information on the respecitve databases, research tips and more.

The library location Hochschule für Musik will be closed during the period 01.08.–02.09.2022.
The music library team is happy if media works that are foreseeably needed are borrowed in advance. During the closure period, media from stock can be ordered either directly in the research portal or by e-mail (bbphil@ub.uni-mainz.de). The distribution takes place at the first information desk of the Library Philosophicum (Jakob-Welder-Weg 18, main building).
