All music theory subjects are taught in the multifunctional audio lab with the aid of computers. On 12 Mac workstations, students have the option of practically tracking course content using appropriate software. To this end, midi and sheet music layout programs for the subjects Harmonics / Jazz Harmonics, Arrangement, and Composition are used (Sibelius, Logic, Pro Tools).
In order to facilitate practice in the disciplines Basso Continuo and Piano Practice, keyboards are available in all locations. In the subjects Audio Training and Work Analysis, students have access to high-quality recordings in direct association with the corresponding sheet music material with the support of the specifically developed music education portal "Milan". In order to facilitate the technical realization of teaching units in the subject of Music Production, mixing consoles with appropriate software are available.
